Description
MOBILE AD HOC NETWORK AND TACTICAL DATA LINK SIMULATION CAPABILITY The Joint Single Integrated Air Picture (SIAP) System Engineering Office (JSSEO), in conjunction with the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), Fort Huachuca, AZ has a requirement for a Mobile Ad Hoc Network and Tactical Data Link Simulation Capability; associated software maintenance; and integration and testing support services. Based on information received in response to Request for Information (RFI) N00024-03-R-5147, it was determined that the required simulation capability is available via full and open competition. The Government intends to publish a DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) that describes the required Mobile Ad Hoc Network and Tactical Data Link Simulation Capability for Industry comments. If Industry questions and comments necessitate an Industry Day, prior to release of the Request for Pro posal (RFP), one will be scheduled in the upcoming weeks. The primary objective of the Industry Day, if held, will be to entertain comments and suggestions for refining the DRAFT SOW for the Mobile Ad Hoc Network and Tactical Data Link Simulation Capability prior to release of a competitive RFP. The anticipated release date for Request for Proposals (RFP) N00024-04-R-5106 is mid to late February 2004. CONTACT INFORMATION.
