Description

The Department Of Agriculture?s Production Estimates and Crop Assessment Division (PECAD) of the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) has a requirement for satellite derived surface wetness, temperatures anomalies, and snow cover map products for ten (10) regions worldwide. PECAD requires a year of 7 or 10 day periodic reporting for global soil moisture and surface temperature data production compatible with ArcGIS processing system, but developed separately from the USAF system. Delivery of reports shall be made at USDA headquarters in Washington DC. The products are derived from version 5.0 of our proprietary SSMI data processing software. The system must capture, integrate and interpret the data from the F13, F14 and F15 SSMI satellites.
