Description

This contract requires the supply of equipment with operator(s) to perform a variety of tasks associated with forest management. Projects will depend on equipment ability and include but not be limited to: slash piling, sub-soiling, crushing, road closures, road obliterations, snow plowing, meadow treatment projects, stream rehabilitation, skidding and decking logs, fire line construction, etc. The primary work location shall be on the Chemult Ranger District for Items 1, 2, and the Chiloquin and Klamath Ranger Districts for Items 3 & 4, Fremont-Winema National Forests with the possibility of task orders on other districts of the Fremont-Winema National Forests, Deschutes National Forest, Bureau of Land Management Klamath Falls Office, Klamath District and Crater Lake National Park. The expected issue date is February 5, 2004 and the open date is March 8, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. This is an indefinite quanitity Request for Proposal.
