- The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, ITEC-4, proposes award of a purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures on the basis of full and open competition for the procurement of Irridium Satellite Telephones and Base stations in support of the Co alition Provisional Authority in Iraq. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitute s the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91QUZ-04-T-0006 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and c lauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-17. This solicitation is RESERVED for small business. NAICS code for this requirement is 517410. The small business standard size for this requirement is $12,500,000. The contractor s hall provide the following: 3 ea. Iridium Satellite Telephone Model 9505 with secure sleeve, & 3 ea. Iridium Satellite Telephone Base Station for Model 9505 phone. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations, including delivery and warranty. Discus sions may or may not be held with the offeror. Accordingly, each offeror??????s initial quote should be complete and accurate. Delivery is required FOB destination at CMATT/C6, ATTN: Republican Presidential Palace, Baghdad Iraq. The required delivery dat e is 18 February 2004. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor and transportation necessary to deliver the items. Offerors must provide warranty information specific to all equipment. The following provisions can be viewed at http://www.arnet.gov.
