Description

This is a re-announcement of Solicitation Number DAAA09-03-R-0195. The requirements are being resolicited due to changes in the contract quantity, changes in the delivery schedule and award strategy. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated for: M550 Escapement Assemblies, 40mm, NSN: 1390-01-245-8888, P/N 8886357, Quantity 1,544,475 each. Delivery minimum 200,000, beginning in late June 2004, ramping up to approximately 300,000 each per month until the contract quantity is produced. Destinatio n is one of two points in Florida. A lowest price technically acceptable evaluation process will be done on each offeror's proposal. Only one award will be made. The solicitation is restricted as a Small Business Set Aside. The contract will include a 100% option clause. The approximate issue date is 5 February 2004 with an approximate response date of 9 March 2004.
