Description

This acquisition is for three(3) each of a Brush Block Unit, P/N 697057004; three(3) each of a Overspeed Governor, P/N 697052004; and three(3) each of a Pitch Control Unit, P/N 697053003. These R391 propeller components and Support Equipment(SE) are needed to perform Organizational maintenance on Dowty?s composite six-blade R391 propeller repair which is used on the KC-130J aircraft. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Dowty Propellers of Gloucester, England as the only known source with the knowledge, experience, and technical data necessary to provide the required items. Any interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within thirty(30) days after the date of this posted synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
