Description

The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a sole source level of effort contract to Coordinated Software Systems (COSYS), LLC, 13101 West Washington Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90066-5100. This award is in support of the Coherent Analytical Computing Environment (CACE) program. The requirement is for engineering support to modify, upgrade, and improve existing CACE software tools, and for management support of the CACE Program Manager at Marine Corps Systems Command. The basis for this sole source award is that COSYS has signed agreements with universities giving them exclusive rights/first right of refusal to convert the developmental software into a commercial product. These universities own the intellectual property rights to that developmental software, and the Government owns the software itself. No solicitation document exists for this effort at this time. Anticipated contract award date is 3rd quarter FY04. Interested parties may submit a written statement of capability for satisfying this requirement to the name and address identified above within 15 days. See numbered note 22.
