Description

The USDA Forest Service plans to award one Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to assist the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest (NF)/Thunder Basin National Grassland (NG), Arapaho/Roosevelt NF, and other units serviced by the Central Administrative Zone (CAZ), in their heritage resource investigations conducted in conjunction with projects carried out by the Ranger Districts. Projects covered under this contract may include, but not be limited to, support for timber sales, road construction or reconstruction, land exchanges, prescribed burns, and special use permits. The contractor may be responsible for conducting Class I, II, and III inventories, site testing for National Register eligibility, data recovery at National Register eligible sites, evaluation of historic structures, completing Historic American Buildings Survey/Historic Engineering Record (HABS/HAER) documentation on historic structures, development of GIS data bases, conducting ethnographic studies, and performing paleontological surveys and evaluations. The contract will be awarded for the Base Year with Four Option Years. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System. We anticipate that the solicitation we be publicized in February, 2004.
