Description
The VA Network Business Center, Long Beach (VISN 22) intends to negotiate a sole source maintenance contract with AGFA Corporation on the Government owned AGFA Picture Archival Communication Systems (PACS) in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. Contractor will provide Impax Service agreement to seven Veterans Integrated Services Network VA facilities located at Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center, VA San Diego Healthcare System, VA Long Beach Healthcare System, Southern Nevada Healthcare System, Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center and MOFH, Nellis Airforce Base in Nevada. Full service agreement includes proprietary software IMPAX and Talk Solution upgrades, preventative maintenance inspection, and QA calibrations per system, unlimited service visits, to include labor, parts, travel during the normal service hours and dial in technical phone support 24 hours per day, 7days per week. The contract will be effective for one base year, with the Government having the option to extend the contract for four additional one-year periods. This award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. AGFA Corporation is the only known responsible source at this time. Solicitation package will NOT be issued as a result of this notification, however all interested concerns interested providing the above shall demonstrate their technical capability and cost in writing to the Contracting Officer at fax number (562) 826-8067 by C.O.B 02/10/2004. Telephone calls will not be accepted. Note 22 applies.
