Description

THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED VIA THE INTERNET. This will be the only method for distributing solicitation documents and amendments. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed on the website only. Amendments will be posted to the website for viewing and downloading. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO PERIODICALLY CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR AMENDMENTS. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND PLAN ROOMS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER ON THE WEBSITE. All contractual and technical questions shall be submitted to Carrie Grimard via facsimile at 812-854-3800 or e-mail at carrie.grimard@navy.mil Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Provide five 4WD Sport Trac pick-ups at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Indiana. The trucks shall be in good operating condition. The Government will furnish fuel and maintenance items such as motor oil, transmission fluid, etc. The Government will also perform all routine preventative maintenance. Estimated mileage will not exceed 12,000 per vehicle per year. Initial term of the lease is from six to twelve months with the option to extend the lease for up to an additional twenty-four months. The entire lease term will not exceed thirty-six months. NAICS Code is 532112 ? Passenger Car Leasing with a size standard of $21.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Anticipated release date is Friday, January 30, 2004 with quotes due at 4:00 p.m. (local time) on Tuesday, February 10, 2004.
