- Description
- The USDA Service Center Modernization Initiative (SCMI) located in Beltsville, MD has a requirement to purchase Microsoft Premier Support Services (PSS) covering a one-year period from date of award. Interested parties must provide a pricing proposal for the following services: The PSS will include the following Technical Account Manager (TAM) services: Up to 2,000 hours of a TAM?s time (for proactive, technical consulting and account management services -- TAM hours can be used for support consulting, supportability reviews, remote diagnosis and debug, multi-vendor coordination), including Orientation and Planning Session, Escalation Management, Service Delivery Plan, Support Usage Reports, Monthly Status Meetings; ASP Services (Alliance Support Professional -- Account Management and Proactive Technical Services): Up to 800 hours of an ASP?s time for Windows, for proactive, technical consulting and incident resolution services; Up to 800 hours of an ASP?s time for Exchange, for proactive, technical consulting and incident resolution services; Technical Support to include 25 support incidents (including Hot Fixes, Critical Problem Alerts, Multi-vendor Coordination, Monthly Status Meetings); 10 Developer Incidents; Technical Information Services including NewsFlashes and unlimited-user Service Desk license (an unlimited number of users may access the World Wide Web); 8 TAM on-site visits (up to two days), North American location only; 4 Microsoft TechNet Plus Subscriptions (single server); 4 MSDN Subscriptions. Interested contractors must be Microsoft-authorized and certified Premier Support Services providers. Certification from Microsoft must be provided by any interested party. The contractor must be able to provide Tier III/IV technical support. Payment for these services will be made quarterly, IN ARREARS.
