Description
DESC: Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to award a fixed price requirements contract on a sole source basis with Instrumentation Technology Systems (ITS), 19360 Business Center Drive, Northridge CA 91 324. This contract will be for the following one item: 1) Model 6145B High Speed IRIG Processor with Scanline Encoding, manufacturer: Instrumentation Technology Systems, 19360 Business Center Drive, Northridge, CA, 91324-3547. The contract ordering period will be for three years from the date of contract award. Estimated quantity to be purchased over the next three years is ten (10). The above item is a commercial off the shelf item that will be used as part of an existing system at USAYPG, and must be compatible in form, fit, and function with the following equipment already in use: ITS Model 6088A Video Encorder, ITS Video Decorder Model 6142A, BrashearLP Model 712450-2. The Model 6145B Encorder will work in concert with the ITS Model 6088A video encoder insofar as it will receive IRIG B from the 6088A and accept the same parallel data as the 6088A from the BrashearLP shaft-angle encoder Readout Chassis Model 712450-2 for video encoding of azimuth and elevation data for BrashearLP KTM systems. The Model 6145B maintains compatibility with the ITS video decoder Model 6142A, which decodes video encoded data for use in data reduction/scoring of NTSC format video-taped testing events. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334310 with a size standard of 750 employees.
