Description

THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. Northzone Mulching Projects on the Boise National Forest. The project consists of three items: 1) Alder Ridge Mulching project on the Emmett Ranger District (75 acres); 2) Warm Lake Highway Mulching project on the Cascade Ranger District (111 acres); and 3) Deadwood Mulching project on the Lowman Ranger District (38 acres). Activity will include thinning and mulching. NAICS code: 115310. Size Standard: $ 6.0 Million. Project locations: 1) Alder Ridge mulching project is located from Boise, Idaho, proceed to Garden Valley, ID on State Highway 55. Once in Garden Valley before the Ranger District, turn left on the Alder Creek road. Proceed across bridge and turn left at Road 382 (this road crosses Alder Creek). Continue on until you reach FS Road 690. Proceed up Wash Creek drainage to FS Road 610. This road will take you to the units 54-55. 2) Warm Lake Highway mulching project is located approximately 26 miles east of Cascade, Idaho on Warm Lake Highway (FS 22). 3) Deadwood mulching project is located approximately 50 miles north of Lowman, Idaho. Project area is east of the Deadwood Reservoir and south of the airstrip. Estimated start date is 4/26/04 for item 1 with completion by 9/30/04 of all items. See numbered note #1.
