Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration is seeking sources/information for Microwave Video Transmission Equipment for use in conducting covert video surveillance during law enforcement investigations. The successful Offeror shall provide and deliver microwave video transmitters, receivers, repeaters and other miscellaneous hardware. Attached is a DRAFT Statement of Work describing the items required. All items except microphones and cables shall have a five (5) year warranty on parts and labor. Microphones and cables shall have a ninety (90) day warranty on parts and labor. All items shall operate in L Band (1.7 to 1.9 GHz), S Band (2.2 to 2.4 GHz), Dual (L&S) Band or C Band (4.4 to 5.0 GHz) frequencies. Awardees will be informed of the exact frequencies after award. Units operating on AC voltage shall accommodate both 115/60 Hz and 220/50 Hz VAC. Changes and additions to Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) will be allowed, with Government approval, to exploit advances in technology and reductions in cost. Bid Samples will be required and at the time of evaluation, that bid sample must meet all required specifications in order for an offeror to be considered for award. A Split Award is planned for this procurement. In order to be considered for an award, the Bid Sample must meet all required specifications. The DEA is seeking input from potential Offerors concerning the best manner of testing individual components as well as other evaluation criteria you believe would be useful. Additionally, information on items that Offerors believe to be of value to the DEA that are not found in the attached Statement of Work should be submitted.
