Description

This announcement constitutes the synopsis only. The Government is anticipating awarding a commercial performance based contract for Maintenance Repairs on Various Type Doors, and Quarterly Inspections on Hangar Doors. Contractor will be required to provide all management, tools, equipment and labor for services on Lackland AFB, Kelly Field Annex, Medina Annex, and Wilford Hall Medical Center. The period of performance for the basic period is (01 Apr 2004 to 30 Sep 2004), with an additional 4 option years (01 Oct 2004 through 30 Sep 2005), (01 Oct 2005 through 30 Sep 2006), (01 Oct 2006 through 30 Sep 2007), and (01 Oct 2007 through 30 Sep 2008). This acquisition will be made under a 100% total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 561790. The size standard is $6.0 million. A written Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted on this website shortly. The estimated date of issue for the solicitation is 31 Mar 2004. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the internet or by calling 1-888-227-2423. Registration must be obtained prior to award.
