Description

This synopsis is issued for informational purposes only. The proposed procurement will be issued as a sole source acquisition to Smiths Detection-Edgewood, Inc (Smiths Detection), Edgewood, MD 21040, IAW the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 ???? (1), FA R 6.302-1, only one responsible source. Note 22. The U.S. Army proposes to procure a Time and Materials, Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for two years for technical and software support services and spare parts for the Meteorological Measuring Set (MMS) and MMS-Profiler (MMS-P). Delivery Orders will be issued for each task. Specific expertise of the system is required to perform the engineering support required for this effort. The Government does not possess a d etailed technical data package suitable for a competitive solicitation. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the Interagency Business Opportunity Page (IBOP) at https://abop.m onmouth.army.mil. Registration for user ID and pass word will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposal to CECOM through the IBOP. Offerors submitting bids shall follow the instructions stated in the solicitation, which describe time, place and date the bids will be received.
