Description

Request for Information (RFI). This announcement is not an RFP and constitutes only a request for information for a potential Navy solicitation. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWARHQ) is seeking firms with current relevant knowledge and experience with the SAP software application and preferably also with SAP/FIMS+ financial management application in use by the SPAWAR HQ Comptroller, that can meet our requirements within our limited budget. The SAP/FIMS+ uses as its core element SAP R/3 version 4.6c utilizing modules FM, MM, SD, PS, and WF. The Comptroller and SPAWAR?s Command Information Officer (CIO) are seeking firms with the capability to perform the enclosed Attachment A requirements for maintaining, supporting and sustaining SAP/FIMS+ operations starting in FY05. It is anticipated that work will be on site at SPAWAR Systems Center ? San Diego (SSC-SD). Interested firms should provide, NLT 2:00 PM Thursday 4 March 2004, a statement of current relevant knowledge, experience, and capability and a rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimate for yearly performance. Interested parties may schedule times for a telephonic or one-on-one Q&A session with SPAWARHQ SAP/FIMS+ principals IAW FAR 15.201 for questions and clarification regarding the SOW between 9 and 27 February 2004. In addition to meetings, any questions may be posted on the SPAWAR e-commerce web site with copies of the questions emailed to Lt Ned Swanson and copied to Mike Cotner, Kim DeBois Sousa, all in Code 02-22, and copied to Dave Peters, Code 08 (see email addresses below). All 4 March 2004 responses of interest shall contain a POC by name, email address, and phone number. The response is not to exceed eight (8) pages and is to be sent via email to: Ned.Swanson@navy.mil; Michael.Cotner@navy.mil; Kimerly.DeBois-Sousa@navy.mil and David.Peters@navy.mil.
