Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity service type contract for the rental of one 17 ton forklift in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA 98314. The contractor shall provide on-site maintenance, with a response time of eight hours after notification. Contractor must obtain required badges for access to Controlled Industrial areas. Delivery is FOB: Destination - Bremerton WA. Period of Performance: 01 April 2004 through 31 March 2005. The Government reserves the right to extend the option period by one additional year of performance. This requirement will be solicited utilizing the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The unrestricted solicitation will be issued on or about 13 February 2004 with a closing of 5 March 2004. Telephone requests will not be honored. Solicitation will be posted to Navy Electronic Commerce website, http:www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendements thereto. Because of this, the Government will not maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore the responsibility of interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
