Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Cotton Program is seeking small businesses capable of providing a bale packaging system as described below for the Lubbock Classing Office. This automated bale packaging system shall function under the power of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity or a combination of any of the above. An alternative source of power would be considered but would have to be approved upon submittal. (Please contact USDA to have a copy of the specifications faxed/emailed to you). If you are a small business capable of providing this bale packaging system, please respond to this SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS with your company's information and pricing information. This notice is not a request for quote and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, the information will be used for budgetary purposes for this procurement.
