Description

The Air Force Flight Test Center, Directorate of Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base California, intends to award a sole source commercial purchase order to Athena Technologies, Inc, Warrenton, VA. The solicitation number for this acquisition is: FA9301-04-T-0015. Purchase order will include CLIN 0001: This requirement consists of an integrated instrumentation system capable of providing a fully integrated GPS-aided inertial solution, performing air data measurements, and providing I/O in the form of 14bit analog-to-digital inputs, at least 15 pulse-width modulated inputs and outputs, and 5 serial communication ports capable of running at 460.8 kbaud. The unit should be capable of providing inertial and pitot-static measurements with performance equal to or better than the Athena GS-111m. The unit should be capable of sampling all inputs at up to 100Hz, recording them to onboard memory for a total of 3-hours and downloading them to a PC after use. The unit must consume less than 5-W and operate 12-V power, weigh less than 1-lb, be smaller than 4 x 3 x 2-in, and be previously proven on an airborne application. Windows based GUI software be available to initialize the unit and perform health and status checks. Deliverable not later than 05 March 2004. Qty: 01-each.
