Description
Synopsis for item 0001; NSN:1560-00-612-9238LG, Noun: Truss Mount. Part Number: 360015-19, Quantity: 56; Application: C-130 Aircraft. Material: Aluminum Alloy. Function: Provides structural support and attaches the engine to the wing. Government?s required delivery: 0001AA; 2 Each First Articles 540 days after FA Approval. 0001AB; 54 Each Production Articles 365 days ARO. A firm fixed price requirement is contemplated. The estimated issue of solicitation will be February 25, 2004 with an estimated response date of March 29, 2004. Contractors must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DOD activity. Information on registration and annual confirmation requirements may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via Internet at http://www.ccr2000.com. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. This is a total Small Business Set-Aside. Due to past acquisition problems that have impacted combat readiness of the C-130 aircraft, all prospective contractors will be required to submit First Articles. This acquisition may/does involve technology that has a military or space application. Only U.S. contractors may participate or those that are certified and registered with DLSC (1-800-352-3572) and have a legitimate business purpose. U.S. contractors must submit a copy of their current, approved DD Form 2345 with their request for solicitation. To request this certification, write to the Commander, Defense Logistics Services Center, ATTN: DLSC-FEB, Federal Center, Battle Creek MI 49017-3084 and request a copy of Dept of Defense Form 2345 or call DLSC at the above number. The data package for this requirement is available on CD-ROM only. Aperture cards are not available for this procurement.
