- OPEN, INSPECT AND REPORT, REPAIR IF APPROVED: ELECTRO HYDRAULIC CRANE ASSEMBLY, NSN 2030-01-495-8710, P/N RAD30-15.5, MFG: APPLETON MARINE INC. QTY 2. USCG Quality Assurance Inspection is required. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center,2401 HAWKINS POINT ROAD, BALTIMORE, MD NOTE: NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source solicitation will be issued for these repairs to: APPLETON MARINE, INC. or an authorized service representative. No substitute or after-market parts are authorized. Only Appleton Marine parts are acceptable. In addition, all work must be done by an authorized Appleton Marine repair facility. All responsible and responsive sources are invited to express their interest and ABILITY to perform the above-described repair, via fax in writing to Kathy Lobasso at 410-762-6056 It is the Government?s belief that only Appleton Marine and/or their authorized detailers/distributors/repair facilities can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all its components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 5 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than Appleton Marine parts are required to submit the following information: 1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2)data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. .
