****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO: Pam Myres, Contracting Officer, FAX 256-876-5311, AMSAM-AC-LS-C, or Debra Henderson, Contract Specialist NSN: 4140-01-298-0149; PN: 41349-1; PRON: AX4C0265AX; NOUN: Impeller, Fan, Axial applicable to CH-47(Chinook); Quantity: 168 Each Minimum/368 Each Maximum 5 Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) re quirement with delivery to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 168 Each 270 Days After Contract Award (DACA). This item is restricted to Howden Airdynamics, Inc., CAGE Code: 58163 because the data needed to acq uire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Adequate techni cal data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms a re encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
