- DTCG87-04-B-643056.    Construct New Garages at U.S. Coast Guard Station Homer, Alaska. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other incidentals to construct ten new 600 SF garages at the US Coast Guard housing complex in Homer, Alaska, as shown on the construction drawings. The Work under this contract shall include:    Demolition of existing carports, including storage sheds and lighting. Relocation of existing fuel oil tanks, light poles and mailboxes are required.    Demolition and reconstruction of existing concrete sidewalks.    Construction of new garages, including excavation, foundations, concrete slab on grade, wood framing, metal roofing, wood shingle siding, doors, windows and installation of gypsum wall board, unit heaters and new power and lighting. Existing driveways will need widening and paving. Demolition of existing ceiling of the lower floor and installation of resilient channels and gypsum board ceilings is required. The estimated start work date is mid to late March 2004, with a performance period of 180 calendar days after receipt of notice of award.    The estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.    See the solicitation for bonding requirements.    This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside.    The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236118 and the applicable size standard is $28.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years.    All responsible small businesses may submit a bid.
