- HQ, Army Field Support Command (AFSC), Rock Island, Illinois in conjunction with the Headquarters, Army War Reserve Support Command (AWRSPTCMD) is soliciting sources interested in submitting comments in response to our DRAFT Request for Proposal (RFP    ) W52P1J-04-R-0024. The requirement is to manage and perform the global maintenance and supply services (GMASS) within the CONUS and OCONUS Area of Responsibility (AOR), formerly the US CENTCOM AOR.        Interested sources should be capable of performing ma intenance on a variety of wheeled and tracked vehicles, non-tactical vehicles, etc. and operating a Government Supply Activity(s) potentially at multiple sites within the CONUS and OCONUS Area of Responsibility (AOR). The DRAFT RFP can be downloaded from h ttp://www.osc.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/solinfo/sow/sow.htm select Business Ops, select on AAIS, click on Solicitation Information, click on Draft Solicitation/Statement of Work.        The 2nd DRAFT RFP will be released on or about 18 Feb 2004 and comments will be    due on or about 25 Feb 2004. Additional attachments, exhibits, and/or changes will be posted no later than 18 Feb 2004.        Comments regarding the 2nd DRAFT RFP shall be forwarded, in writing electronically, to Headquarters, AFSC, ATTN: AMSFS-CCA-F (Ms. Ir is Padro) at iris.padro@us.army.mil no later than 1600hrs 25 Feb 2004.        All comments received become the property of the Government and will not be disseminated.        The Government will evaluate comments provided and will make revisions to the RFT, as app ropriate.        Any submission is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any items, services, nor for the Government to pay for the information received.        This is not a solicitation for a procurement action.
