Description
Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), the current PrISMS Mission Prime Contractor to NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), is supporting the new UNITeS Mission Prime Contractor, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) during the transition period between Prime Contracts. In furtherance of that support, this synopsis constitutes an annoucement by SAIC of their intentions of awarding a competitive Small Disadvantage Business (SDB) set-aside for Procurement Services in support of UNITeS Prime Contract NNM 04AA02C. SAIC intends to award a Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) subcontract with a base period ending 31 Dec 2006 and two (2) one (1) year options. The awardee shall be responsible for the procurement of all hardware, software, and related services in support of the NASA UNITES Prime Contract. Qualified and Responsible offerors shall have demonstrated at a minimum the following qualifications: 1) Current certification by the SBA of their status as a Small Disadvantage Business and provide evidence of such with their response 2) Current Government Approved Procurement System and provide evidence of such with their response including the date of their last CPSR 3) Current experience with the NASA Management Information and Control System (MICS) in general, and the Procurement and Accounts Payable modules in particular 4) Experience supporting NASA and MSFC is desired. The RFP will be available via E-mail approximately 5 days from the posted date of this synopsis to those responsible respondents who meet the qualifications identified above and said RFP will include the technical requirements (PWS) and Award Fee criteria. Interested and responsible parties shall provide sufficient information no later than 23 Feb 2004 to include solicitation number, company name, point of contact, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, business size, and evidence that they meet the minimum qualifications identified above to "warneckim@saic.com". Responses received after 23 Feb 2004, or that do not adequately address the minimum qualifications identified above will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. Oral communications are not accepted in response to this notice. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor this site for the release of any amendments or clarifying questions and answers.
