Description
NA VA Medical Center (VAMC), Minneapolis, MN solicits the following with procurement being conducted under FAR according to a combination of FAR Par 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation #RFP 618-117-04 is assigned as Request for Proposal. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-17. This procurement is issued as 100% Set Aside for Small Business. NAICS code is 811310 and the small business size standard is $6 million. A pre-proposal SITE WALK is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. Meet in Facilities Engineering Room BR-138, basement of Bldg. 70 main medical center building. Failure to attend this conference will not relieve the successful Contractor from compliance with all specifications, terms and conditions of resultant contract. Provide all labor and equipment and necessary materials, technical expertise and supervision to repair/replace HVAC Coils; replace existing steel headers and piping with copper; match existing coil capacity and fit; repair is at Contractor's option but must be so indicated in proposal; direct replacement is defined as having exactly the same operating characteristics, piping connections, etc. After Notice of Award, Contractor will develop a Schedule of Work that will include ordering materials and complete all work within 60 calendar days. Buy American Act, Service Contract Act apply. Warrant labor and material for 1 year period after acceptance by Government. Award will be firm fixed-price contract, FOB destination.
