Description

Scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, a full-line food distributor providing various types of food commodities, materials, labor and equipment necessary for delivery of food products to units/activities of the Ohio Army National Guard (OH ARNG). The contract shall consist of a base year and four (4) option years, beginning on/around May 1, 2004. Normally, monthly deliveries are required at various OHARNG armories in the State of Ohio. This commercial item acquisition will be unrestricted. T he North American industrial classification (NAIC) code is 424410. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more than 100 employees. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be evaluated by the Evaluation Boar d. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for the non-cost factors of 1) qualifications of the delivery system; 2) past performance and 3) the company’s capability fo r an electronic ordering system. Award of a contract will require registration with the Central Contractor Registration. (www.ccr.gov) The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about February 25, 2004. Requests for the RFP package must be submit ted electronically to elaine.farabeee@oh.ngb.army.mil; in writing to Contracting Officer, USPFO for Ohio, 2811 West Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235-2789; or by fax to (614) 336-7304. No telephone requests please. A pre-proposal conference is te ntatively planned for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 10, 2004. Meeting location is still to be determined.
