Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation/synopsis reference number is FA4417-04-Q-S705 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The associated NAICS code is 237110 with a maximum dollar threshold of $28.5 million. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts and transportation necessary for installation and training on installation, operation, and repair. The work to be performed includes, but not necessarily limited to the following features: delivery, installation, and training for a Maxicom Central Irrigation Control System. The manufacturer is Rain Bird of Tucson, Arizona. This system includes eight (8) DEPUL pulse decoders, two (2) CCU6SS cluster control units, one (1) RAINCAN rain collectors, one (1) M23001 laptop software packages, seven (7) ESPMIBTW two-wire boards, one (1) CCU28S cluster control unit, one (1)WSPROPH weather station phone link, and seven (7) FS400P 4-inch flow sensors. This equipment shall be delivered to Hurlburt Field; a US Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Shipping costs and a breakdown for labor, to include training, shall be included in pricing. The contractor shall coordinate delivery and training/work schedule with the point of contact that will be designated at a later time. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Price shall be the primary factor used to evaluate offers. The following additional clauses are applicable to this procurement. DFAR 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR); Contractors not registered in the CCR will be ineligible for award.
