Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with ITT Cannon, Division of ITT Industries C/O Spectrum Marketing, 666 East Dyer Rd. Santa Ana, CA 927 05. This contract will be for the following items. Line Item 0001, 8 Each, ITT Cannon Part Number FO111400-4036, 1640 FT Reel Fiber Optic Multi Channel (FOMC) 12 Channel Single Mode Fiber Optic Cable. Tactical Plug Connector and 50 LB Breakaway Feature. Li ne Item 0002, 10 Each, ITT Cannon Part Number FO111400-4035, Back to Back Plug Assembly FOMC 12 Channel Single Mode Fiber Optic Cable. Tactical Plug Connector and 50 LB Breakaway Feature, 33 Meters.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspITT Cannon is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the se items.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe items are form, fit, and function to existing items in use at USAYPG. All items must be compatible with the current ITT Cannon items in the above listed Items 0001 and 0002.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspSpecial features to include form, fit, and function, and specifica tions must be met. Also, receptacles incorporate self-closing dust covers and breakaway features that will greatly enhance longevity when deployed at the various gun positions and test locations throughout USAYPG. Award of this requirement will be in accor dance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items.
