Description

The Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W) on behalf of the DoD Defense Acquisition Regulation Office System (DARS) is releasing the Request for Proposal entitled: DFARS Transformation Integrated System (DTIS). This requirement is a 100% Smal l Business Set-Aside under NAIC 541511 Business Size Standard of $21 Million. See Note 1.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThis procurement is in reference to solicitation W74V8H-04-R-0022 (01/16/04)which is wherein cancelled and replaced by W74V8H-04-R-0020. The Defense Acquisition Regu lations System (DARS) Office is pursuing an efficient and integrated approach that builds on government, industry, and project management best practices for acquiring a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) acquisition regulations management package and the syst em integration expertise to implement it. The DTIS solution shall be developed to interface with the E-Rulemaking Initiative. At its core, this is a performance-based acquisition that will result in the best value to the Government. No information concerni ng this solicitation or request for clarifications will be provided in response to telephone calls from prospective offerors. All such request shall be made in writing and submitted to Department of the Army, Defense Contracting Command-Washington, 5200 Ar my Pentagon, Washington DC 20310-5200, Email: ronald.blue@hqda.army.mil, Fax No. 703-695-9756. Written inquiries will be answered in writing and provided to all offerors via an amendment to the solicitation. HOWEVER, no such inquiries will be considered if&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspreceived more than ten (10) days after the release date of the solicitation. DCC-W Office is posting a copy of the RFP W74V8H-04-R-0020 for the DTIS on the Internet web site at: http://dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/RFP1.asp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspto provide the public an opp ortunity to submit proposals.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe deadline for receipt of proposal is MARCH 19, 2004 at 2:00 pm.
