Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase on a sole source basis training classes for the DTR-16 Recorder and the TDM-8 Multiplexer as manufactured by Sypris Data Systems, Inc., 9020 Junction Drive #3, Annapolis Junction, MD 20701.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspSypris is the manufacturer of the recorder and multiplexer and is the sole source able to provide the required OEM training and technical manuals.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334515 with a size standard of 500 employees.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThe purchase order shall be a firm fixed priced order for six training classes as required by Fleet schedules.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspFOB Destination shall apply.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspSimplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspThis procurement is DO priority rated.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspTHE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. The Naval Surface Warfare Cent er, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren Laboratory Procurement Division has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area; therefore, this synopsis and any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY.
