Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for the full and open competitive procurement of the following two US Currency packaging sets for re-sale use: 1) Quantity 10,000 Series 2003 Matching Denomination Set and 2) Quantity 10,000 Series 2001 and 2004 $20 Matching Dallas Sets in accordance with specifications attached herein.&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbspOfferors will be requested to submit a sample of the proposed items for evaluation with quotation. A technical review of the sample will be accomplished prior to award. The resulting Purchase Order shall be Firm Fixed Price. The source selection decision will be based upon overall best value to the BEP, price and non-price factors considered in accordance with Evaluation Criteria attached herein. The Government will award an order resulting from this quotation to the responsible firm with favorable past performance whose quotation is reasonable in price, conforms to the terms of the RFQ and represents the best overall value to the Government. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination to BEP located in Washington, DC. All interested businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be made on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNs number, and size status (i.e., large business, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). Quotations are due on February 27, 2004 by 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard time. Quotations may be mailed to the BEP Office of Procurement, Attn: Christina Tayman, 14th and C Sts, S.W., Washington, D.C. 20228-0001 or faxed to Christina Tayman at (202) 874-2200 or (202) 874-3235.
