- WR-ALC/LSKT anticipates issuing a contract to ITT Avionics, Clifton, NJ, to upgrade the AN/ALQ-172(V) Electronic Countermeasures System (CMS) group B to Electronic Countermeasures Improvement (ECMI) configuration on B-52H aircraft. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is intended for subcontracting possibilities and is not a request for competitive proposals. This contract will or a basic contract period with four option periods and will include the following: 51 each Group B aircraft installation kits; replenishment spare parts; repaired/modified or new LRUs, Support Equipment. Installation kits composed of: modified LRU-1, Receiver, P/N 2637801G001, NSN 5865-01-424-5096EW, 2 EA; LRU-3, Switch, P/N 2637803A001/G001, NSN 5865-01-424-5098EW, 2 EA; LRU-4, Transmitter, P/N 2637804G001, NSN 5865-01-424-5097EW, 2 EA; LRU-10, Controller, P/N 2637810G001, NSN 5865-01-424-6013EW, 2EA. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 15 Mar 04, with the approximate response date of 14 Apr 04.
