Description

The solicitation will be available on 2/25/04 at http://ideasec.nbc.gov website. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The work of this contract consists of the removal, disposal and installation of a complete roof system on three structures at Gettysburg National Military Park. The roof systems on these structures are historic wood shingle roof coverings with lead coated copper flashings, galvanized steel gutters/downspouts and 1" X 4" oak lath. These roof systems shall be removed and replaced to replicate the existing systems as close as possible. Davis Bacon Wage & Labor rates will apply, General Decision Number: PA030016 There will be a site visit for interested parties on 3/16/04 at 8:00 AM. You will meet at 405 Taneytown Rd., Gettysburg, PA. Contact Bruce Martin at 717-334-5533 for directions. A payment bond equal to one hundred percent of the contract cost will be required. Insurance certificate naming the Gettysburg National Military Park as the other insured will be required The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
