- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a Small Business Set-Aside and the Government intends to procure on a competitive basis. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for 30 each - 31ft X 31ft X 8ft Dolphin Enclosure Net in accordance with Attachment (1), Drawing and 10 each - 61ftx31ftx8ft Dolphin Enclosure Nets in accordance with Attachment (2) Drawing. The net shall be dry and flexible at time of shipping. Interested vendors who submit a quote shall provide specifications of their dipping process. Deliver all items to SPAWAR Systems Center, San Diego, CA 92152-5410. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, award will be based on responsive, responsible and technically acceptable offers received in response to this advertisement. ?Numbered Note 1? applies. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. The Solicitation Number is N66001-04-Q-0608.
