- The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate the statement of work and wage determinations. Statement of Work 1. Scope: The work covered by this statement of work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment required to replace two Trane chiller units and condensers, and associated piping and Electrical equipment. 2. The new Chiller, Condenser , Refrigerant after being tested by contractor will be furnished by government. All other piping, valves, insulation, hangers and associated will be furnished by contractor 3. General: The work under this contract shall be performed on Offutt AFB. Bldg. 598. statcom ground facility. And will include removal of existing chiller and associated piping, Remove existing outside condenser, remove refrigerant lines and abandon heat recovery piping, cap heat recovery piping as necessary, install government furnished chiller, condenser, and refrigerant (after being tested by contractor) modify existing chilled water piping to connect to new chiller inlet and outlet, install flow switch And threadolets in chiller water piping as needed for the monitoring of equipment by DDC, furnish and install new refrigerant piping for new chiller; two circuits with 1 1/8" liquid and 1 5/8" hot gas are required, approximately 150 lineal feet, 200 equivalent feet, each circuit to have liquid line drier with 3 valve bypass, furnish and install refrigerant specialties: discharge muffler, shut off valves, relief valves, check valves, furnish and install steel beam or channel iron as needed to adapt new chiller to existing concrete pad, furnish and install rubber-in-shear isolators for chiller, furnish 520# R-22 refrigerant, chiller water piping and hot gas will be insulated, drill 4 holes at appoximately10 feet off the floor and Approximately. 2” in. Dia. through exterior wall and HEMP shield and weld on both sides of HEMP shield 360 around, HEMP shield refrigerant pipe penetrations to be per MIL-HDBK-423. Acceptance testing by Steve Yeaple on Offutt. Ground all new refrigerant lines to shield. Electrical for connecting new chiller, condenser and interlocks. Most existing wiring will be reused where applicable. Straight time working hours, no overtime or premium time included. Access into drywall ceiling in corridor between mechanical room and generator room may have to be expanded. Contractor will cut holes and patch as necessary. Assumes adequate escorts at all times. More than one required. Assumes system isolation valves work so chillier can be isolated from system and the boring thru the HEMP shield and the welding of both sides and the inspection of the welds by Mr. Steve Yeaple to certify pipes going thru the wall meet the security requirements, this will include clean up and removal of material, Will include start-up and checkout. This work shall be performed by local, state, and federal codes. 4. Wage Determination 94-2325 Rev 25 applies and can be obtained at http://www.wdol.gov/
