Description

Description of Work: Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to complete construction of a left hand turn lane on Highway 12 and surface Pink House Recreation Site. Work on Highway 12 shall include excavation, construction of embankment, placement of crush aggregate base, placement of asphalt pavement, placement of temporary pavement striping markings and chip sealing. Work in Pink House Recreation Site shall include chip sealing and application of pavement striping. All work shall be done in accordance with the Idaho Department of Transportation 1999 Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, April 2003 Supplemental Specifications, and with these specifications. Work under this Contract is located in Clearwater County, Idaho. The work site is in and adjacent to the Pink House Recreation Site, located between Highway 12 and the Clearwater River, approximately 5 miles west of Orofino, Idaho. Performance Period is 45 Calendar days. In accordance with FAR 28.102-1, a 100% Payment Bond is required for contracts greater than $25,000, prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about 03/16/2004. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov.
