Description

Timber Sales: The work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, and management necessary for harvesting sawtimber and pulpwood and other incidental related work at Marine Corp Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. All merchantable timber products are to become the property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the limits of the Station. This is a Multiple Award, Firm Fixed Price, Services Contract. Two contracts will be awarded from this solicitation. Contractors may bid on all compartments, one compartment, or any combination of compartments they choose. Bid documents will be available on or about 12 March 2004. The bid opening date will be on or about 20 April 2004. Mr. Danny Marshburn will accompany prospective bidders to the site on 16 March 2004. Prospective bidders who wish to inspect the site should be at Building No. 58, located on Virginia Dare Drive at Marine Corp Base, Camp Lejeune, NC before 9:00 AM.
