Description

This specification establishes a requirement to provide unlimited on-call emergency repairs and annual inspection/alignment for the Government owned Ingersoll Masterline Gantry Machining Center equipped with the following Auxiliary Spindle Units: Nu tator Part No. 990-3901-19, Grooving Attachment Part No. 26933-43-690-9, Heavy Duty Vertical, Part No. 990-3895-19, Extended Horizontal, Part No. 990-3907-19, 1400mm Extension, Part No. 990-3902-19, and Double Right Angle, Part No. 990-5009-19. Machine co ntrol is a GE Fanuc 15 MB with a high-speed serial bus connected to a PC. This equipment is located in Building 100 at the Anniston Army Depot, Anniston, AL 36201-4199. This contract shall cover the cost of providing all items necessary to perform unlim ited emergency repairs and annual inspection/alignment for the machining center, including labor, tools, diagnostic equipment, transportation, schematics, documentation and other services to repair the Machining Center. All repairs and annual inspection/a lignment shall be performed by contractor personnel that are experienced and highly trained in operating, maintaining and servicing the equipment in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) published procedures. This procurement is a so le source procurement to Ingersoll Machine Tools of Rockford, Illinois. Any use, duplication, or disclosure of the software or supporting data for the upgrades are prohibited by Ingersoll Machine Tools. Vendors that recognizes this service and would like to be considered for future procurements and can provide duplication, or disclosure of the software or supporting data for the on-call emergency repairs and annual inspection/alignment for the Government owned Ingersoll Masterline Gantry Machining Cen ter should submit technical literature for evaluation within 7 calendar days after this announcement. Only government approved vendors may be considered in future procurements. North American Industry Classification System is 333512. Size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation will be issued electronically to Ingersoll Machine Tools in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
