- This notice is issued to inform industry that the General Services Adminsitration, FTS, Region 4, 4890 University Square, Suite 3F, Huntsville, AL 35816 intends to award a sole source contract to Harris Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is a notice of intent to award using sole source procedures for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and following the simplified acquisition procedures in FAR part 13.5. This announcement constitutes the only announcement; proposals are not being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 4THO21040685 has been assigned to this requirement. This procurement is for the purchase of (QTY 33) Cable Assy, R/T Whip to PA # 12005-0710-A29, (QTY 33) Cable Assy, R/T Whip to PA # 12005-0710-B28, (QTY 51) Locking Device, # 12005-1200-01, (QTY 33) RT-1796(p) Standard Radio # 10513-1000-07, (QTY 33) Shock Tray Assy, VRC-94F, # 12005-1920-01, (QTY 22) Cable Assy DC Pwr #10570-0705-A021, (QTY33) TBD # 12005-1010-02. Harris Corporation has been approved as the sole source available for the procurement of these proprietary radios. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5,Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders – Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
