Description
Industry Days and Registration: The Government is planning Industry Days during which potential contractors may obtain a better understanding of the work required under the Alliant solicitation. The Industry Days are scheduled for March 22nd, March 29th, and April 12th, 2004. Interested parties are invited to attend on only one of the six sessions. The purpose of Industry Days is to: (1) outline the principle features of the Alliant program and provide information on the overall Alliant objectives; (2) describe the scope of program work as well as explain and clarify instructions for completing proposals along with describing how proposals will be evaluated in order to aid potential offerors in deciding if they wish to proceed in this acquisition further; and (3) provide an opportunity to ask specific questions and receive pertinent responses from the Government. Questions posed by offerors will be considered during the meeting, but may be deferred an answer until a later date. Subsequent to the Industry Days an amendment containing a transcription of the questions and answers, and a list of attendees, will be made publicly available on the Alliant website. Offerors are cautioned that, notwithstanding any remarks, clarifications, or responses given during Industry Days, all terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged unless they are changed by amendment. It is the responsibility of each offeror, prior to proposing, to seek clarification of any ambiguity created by amendment of the solicitation by submitting those questions/concerns in writing only at alliant@gsa.gov The General Services Administration will hold the first Industry Day sessions on March 22nd, 2004 from 8:00 to 11:00 and from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The location is the Oakland Federal Building, 3rd Floor North Tower Auditorium, 1301 Clay Street, Oakland, CA 94612.
