- NSN: 2840-01-311-3811PR P/N: 1499M83P02 Noun: SHAFT, TURBINE, AIRCRAFT Item Description: The shaft turbine fan is connected to the HPC rotor and becomes part of the axis for the rotating parts of the engine. The function of the shaft turbine fan is part of the fan rotor that processes air to the HPC and turbines to produce thrust. Material and Dimensions are as follows: The dimensions are 14 inch X 9 inch 9.4 lbs. The material consists of TI-6A1-4V tungsten carbide thermal spray. Applicable to: F110-129 Engine, F16 C & D Aircraft. Destination: FB2039 Delivery: March 2005 Estimated Qty: 5 ea The following ranges will be solicited 2-4 and 5 to 11. Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. Qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 17 March 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 16 April 2004. The anticipated award date will be 30 April 2004. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Contractors must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBizOpps website. This office no longer mails solicitations. Specifications, plans or drawings related to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
