Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, NAVAIR HQ, has a requirement for the procurement of approximately 367 J52 Engine Number 4 Bearing Scavenge Tube with Integral Chip Collector Modification Kits (P/N 2194861). The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm-fixed-price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-02-G-3119 with United Technologies Company, Pratt & Whitney, 400 Main Street, East Hartford, CT 06108-0969. United Technologies Company, Pratt & Whitney, is the only qualified designer, developer, and manufacturer of the J52-P-408 A/B engine, and is the only firm possessing the requisite knowledge, technical expertise, production tooling, facilities, logistics, support capability, engineering drawings and technical data to perform this effort in a timely manner.
