Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request for Proposals (RFP) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, FA4427-04-T-0004, is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a request for quotation. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-20 dated 23 Feb 2004 and DFAR Change Notice (DCN) 20040223. This solicitation is listed as 100% small business set aside. This requirement will not be split awarded. Any quotation requiring a split award will be deemed as nonresponsive and will not be considered for award. The Federal Supply class is 5945. The associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3679. The North American Industry Classification System is 334419 and the associated business size standard is 500 employees. This request for quotation shall consist of 4 Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN) to retrofit 1600 BPTC (Automatic Transfer Switch) from 480 VAC to 208 VAC system: CLIN 0001 Quantity 2, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Solenoid, Mfr: Onan or equal, Part Number: 306-3623-14; CLIN 0002 Quantity 2, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Fuse, Mfr: Onan or equal, Part Number: 0321-0304-06; CLIN 0003 Quantity 1, Unit of Issue: Each, Description Transformer, Mfr: Onan or equal, Part Number: 0315-0701, CLIN 0004 Quantity 1, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Shipping/Handling (FOB Destination charges to Travis AFB, CA 94535). Items will be delivered no later than 7 days after receipt of order.
