- Description
- Dover Air Force base requires a public address system for the 2004 Air Show weekend. The sound system must be capable of sound to span an airshow crowd frontage of up to 2500 ft. with a price adder to provide 2 sets of remote speakers 3000 ft. from the announcers stand. An array of music as well as the capability to voice over music is required. Announcer will be provided by others. Sound system personnel are to be provided to set up, break down, and to operate the system as requested by airshow directors/airboss from 14 May thru 16 May 2004 from approximately 0700L EDT to 1800L EDT. Sound System must have CD/Tape Capability as well as hook-ups for MP3/Minidisc players. Corded and Cordless mics (2 each) are also required. Bidder shall provide VHF/UHF communications equipment in a Runway Supervisor Unit (RSU) as part of the bid package. Use of this equipment by the airboss shall be included in your quotation. A runway supervisory unit shall be provided with a height justifiable to see the entire runway. The unit will be climate controlled for the airboss and airshow coordinator. Quotations over $2500 will require contractor to be Central Contractor Registered with the DOD via ccr.gov with a current DUNS and CAGE Code. Quotes will be submitted with a price for rental and a price for installation (labor). Please state your DUNS and CAGE code on your quotation along with 3 references of events supported within the past 2 years.
