Description

The purpose of this modification is to respond to questions posed by potential offerors. Question 1: Why is this requisition listed as a sole source with a compatibility requirement? Answer: This procurement will provide compatibility with existing equipment and continuity of training. Question 2: What is the software and interface package you have with the existing equipment? Answer: We do not use software for our AED's. Question 3: Why are no extra pads and extra batteries requested in the Solicitation as called for in Federal Guidelines for AED Programs. Answer: The synopsis/solicitation listed the customer's requirements. Question 4: Why is the requirement for a watertight carrying case? Answer: To prevent water damage and provide additional protection while the unit is being transported to the outlying parts of the range. Question 5: It appears there is a discrepancy on the carrying case part number. Is the part number correct? Answer: The correct part number has now changed to 3005384-003 and is being transitioned to 11998-000021. It is no longer being called a Pelican case, just a hard shell, watertight, carrying case. One of the above numbers needs to be associated with it so it will accommodate the LifePak 500.
