Description

SALIENT FEATURES The MSC100SC must meet the following minimum specifications: 1) Provide fast Etherenet (100BaseFx) over fiber, using SC connetors, on all ports. 2) Be non-blocking on the network, introducing less than 1ms of latency onto the network. 3) Must hide the MAC address of the device being protected, by substituting another devices MAC address in its place. 4) Must modify the packet header data to create the appearance that the protected device does not exist, by changing specific fields, such as TTL and hop count, which would normally be modified by the hidden device, back to the settings they would have had if the hidden device were not there.
