Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE ACTION. NOTICE FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY - NOTE 22. This procurement follows a concept study previously acquired. It is for the design and fabrication of a concept demonstrator vehicle consisting of adding a HEMTT Load Handling System (LHS) with Container Handling Unit (CHU) to a Government Owned MTVR truck. Since the MTVR truck is a Non-Developmental Item, detailed technical data is not available. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to negotiate and acquir e this effort, sole source, from OTC, the current and sole producer of the MTVR, HEMTT-LHS and CHU.
