Description
This is a notice of intent from the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to issue a purchase order on an other than full and open competition basis to Anteon Corporation in Fairfax, VA to assess the suitability of integrating the Anteon Energy Index Algorithm(EIA), a component within the Landing Period Designator (LPD) into the Tactical Control Station (TCS) supporting the Fire Scout Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV). Anteon is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the EAI and LPD and is the only firm that possesses the knowledge, technical expertise and experience, data and understanding of its design and system architecture. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
